There is definitely a certain amount of wisdom won from pain. There is also a large amount of self-control exerted when you want to give up because the pain is so intense, but you won't because of your competitive edge...Cait has replaced dancing feet with rowing hands. The pain of living through enormous bleeding blisters on her feet got her to Worlds in Irish dancing, so who knows where it will take her in rowing! No pain no gain...living your dream!
